The Clarkson University Office of Educational Partnerships provides rigorous and targeted professional development for all ADK P-TECH faculty and staff in the areas of instructional strategies, program and student assessment, and program and student evaluation tools. The Literacy Design Collaborative (LDC) offers a framework for building the college-and-career-ready literacy skills specified by the Common Core State Standards. All learning experiences are based on professional research, align with Common Core Standards, Next Generation Science Skills, and 21st Century Learning.
- Awareness Days for educators, both teachers and administrators at the middle and high school levels, to inform and update them about P-Tech High School opportunities; including course work and skill requirements, as well as regional employment opportunities.
- Professional development for educators to learn how to develop and implement multidisciplinary inquiry-based projects that demand problem solving, critical thinking, application/integration of technology and team work based on Common Core Learning Standards, 21st Century Skills, and Next Generation Science Skills.
