Homework - Students are assigned homework every night and the assignments are recorded in their assignment pads. Please check there daily and sign their pads at least once or twice a week.

Monday – Write words in cursive 3 times each.

Tuesday – Write words in ABC order.

Wednesday - Write 5 interesting sentences using 5 different spelling words. Mid year I ask students to write a detailed paragraph linking the spelling words for the week.

Thursday- Study for Friday's test.

A math worksheet is given that corresponds with that days' lesson. The skill is taught in class and the worksheet reinforces the concept learned.

Your child should be reading chapter books, they should read at least 15 minutes each night, record titles and authors  in assignment pads when completed.
