MMr. O'Connell's
Classroom Rules and Expectations |
|
Why do
we have classroom rules? The answer is very
simple--respect. The purpose of school is for learning. I
would like all of my students to have the opportunity to
have a successful learning experience. In order to do that,
everyone in class must be aware of my expectations and
respect each other. So that we call all have an
excellent year, I have set in place five simple classroom
rules to follow. |
|
RULE #1: Respect the
people, equipment, supplies, and furnishings of Room 32 |
RULE #2: Adjust your
volume to suit the activity. |
|
RULE #3: Follow
directions the first time I give them, though I will repeat
directions once. |
RULE #4: Have all
materials and supplies ready when told to do so.
Transitions will be swift, quiet, and orderly. |
|
Rule #5: Raise your hand
and wait for permission to talk. NEVER interrupt except for
emergencies. |
|
During the first
days of school you will learn about our classroom discipline
system, and our classroom rewards system! |
