On February 26, 2011 Peru had seven sectional champions compete in the NYSPHSAA Tournament of Champions.   Arik Robinson became a four time state champion and was named Outstanding Wrestler for Division 2.  Arik became only the fourth wrestler to ever win four titles.  Arik finished his high school career with 180 wins (107 of those wins were by pin) and 10 losses in five years.  He also placed 4^th as an 8^th grader at the state tournament.

Patrick Hogan finished second, narrowly losing the state title by seconds.  Patrick is now a three time state place winner, 4^th in 2010 and 6^th in 2009.  Patrick finished his high school career with the third highest win record of 168 wins and 48 losses.

Unfortunately, our remaining wrestlers, though wrestling hard didn’t fair so well, all had at least one win.

We finished in third place as a high school team out of 103 schools entered.
