WE ARE PROUD!!
Congratulations to all of
the History Day Club students who participated in the North Country
History Day Regional Contest on Saturday at Fort Ticonderoga. Of the
nine students from Peru Middle School who competed, five are advancing
to the State Finals at Cooperstown, New York in April. Students Taylor
Morse, Jordan Pelkey, Emily Sipley, Darcy Smith, and Jamie Vogt are
advancing in the Group Documentary Category. Ethan Depo is an alternate
for the State Finals for the Individual Exhibit category. Hunter
Sartwell, Jenny Cibula, and Jackie Thew received honorable mentions in
the competitive exhibit categories.
Congratulations to the Helping Hands Club for raising $719.88 for the
Big Change Round Up. All proceeds raised during the Round Up
benefit the Vermont Children's Hospital.
