Welcome to 5th Grade,

     We are excited that the new school year is finally here! The summer was a beautiful one but we are ready to be back.  Fifth Grade brings many challenges and we will face them together. We have four wonderful teachers in our classroom that will help you along the way. 

     Our new social studies books are in and we are going to start off the year learning about the continents and the country we live in.  We hope you have studied those multiplication facts because we will be using them right at the beginning and throughout the year. The first story we will read is about a boy that faces the challenges of fifth grade just like you. In fact the reading unit is stories that give examples of different challenges.  So lots for you to learn and look forward to.

     So come in give us your best smile and be prepared to have a great year!
